IDECONSA is a construction company founded in Tarazona (Zaragoza) in 1963. At that time there were not many possibilities for enterprising people. Thanks to the effort and dedication of a committed management and all the employees, together with a right outlook, the usual difficulties of the beginning were overcome and we could see soon a clear evolution of the company.
 
The first clients belong to public administration, and the activity of the company expands in Aragon and the bordering regions. The first work dates from 22 June 1963, for the City Council of Tarazona: “Paving and Sewerage of Caldenoguea Street and Old Theatre” for the amount of 874,200 pesetas (over 5,200 €).
 
Although at the beginning the company developped in hydraulic works, it started very soon to diverisfy its business activity to other fields: roads, building, housing estates, sports facilities, water purification, hydroelectric plants, parks and gardens and other civil engineering works.
 

The implementation of different works and  projects increased the magnitude of the organization, the scope of the company goes from Galicia to Andalusia,  including Castile and León, Castile-La Mancha, Extremadura, Murcia… In 1977 it is constituted as a civil construction limited company. The corporate name is IDECON, S.A.U., and the brand name is "IDECONSA".
 
It is very rewarding to notice the growth and the evolution of our organization, in compliance with the established decrees of the market. It is obvious that the best indicators of the evolution of a company are the economic results, but we also have to take into account the people, the management, our environment…They are also part of our responsible action.
 

The quality, the service rendered, the satisfaction of the client, improvement, the environmental management, workplace risk prevention, personnel management, R&D&I, logistics… are all integrated in the management of our company as inherent procedures of our daily tasks.
